Our high definition recording processes provide you with cost-effective and timely results. Recording is done at your location using professional equipment and microphones. Our equipment includes specialized and custom-built pieces not available “off the shelf,” which allows us to get great results even in challenging situations.
We offer a wide range of options from basic 2-track stereo recording for fast and efficient production to high channel-count concert and session recording suitable for the most demanding circumstances. Whether you need 2 or 52 microphones or something in between for your project you can be sure Westmark can handle the job.

Our standard on-location video recording service adds one or two cameras to our regular audio recording setup. We record HD video to flash memory for efficient transfer into the non-linear editing system. We often work in conjunction with school video or cable TV crews to keep costs as low as possible. Additional cameras can be brought in as needed for more complex shoots.
With our extensive background in audio, we have the right experience to capture music concerts and events with great video and great sound. For the ultimate concert recording setup we combine multi-track audio recording with video to produce 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound DVDs or Blu-Ray discs.
Need to reach a larger audience for your event or be able to connect with viewers across the country or around the world? Live streaming is a way do that “as it happens.” We offer a wide range of options from basic single-camera setups to live switched multi-camera productions. We can help you decide what will work best and fit within your budget.
We use the latest digital editing, mixing and mastering tools and techniques to achieve professional results from our recordings. We can also put the finishing touches on recordings that you make yourself. It’s something we do day in and day out so we’ve gotten pretty good at it.
Standard delivery is in the form of MP3 or WAV files. We can also deliver FLAC files for high-definition audio with smaller file sizes than the uncompressed PCM (WAV) format while still retaining full fidelity. If you prefer physical media we can also make CD pre-masters with or without embedded CD text.
Our editing process gives your video content a polished, professional look. Standard editing for concert footage includes removal of “dead” space and adding fade-ins, fade-outs and on-screen titles to create a finished program.
Since the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic we have added the assembly of “virtual ensemble” videos to our suite of services. With our deep experience in audio we can produce virtual ensemble videos that look and sound great. We have developed “how-to” documents to help you prepare your ensemble members, create guide tracks and upload individual videos.
It’s probably safe to say that after two years of being forced to do things online rather than in person, virtual ensembles are no one’s first choice for corporate music-making. But if you need to do one give us a call.
Standard video delivery is in the form of full HD MP4 files for a high-quality product suitable for upload to YouTube, Vimeo or embedding on your web site. If you would like to deliver your project on DVD or Blu-ray discs, we use professional authoring software to add menus, titles and chapters to make it easy for viewers to navigate your content and select between stereo or surround sound audio tracks (where applicable).
While physical media production has declined in recent years, many clients still prefer a tangible product to digital distribution. If you are looking to complete your project with CDs, DVDs, or a mix of physical and digital delivery, we can help.
Compact Disc and DVD duplication
We use top-quality media and equipment for all our in-house CD-R and DVD-R duplication in quantities from one to several hundred. After duplication the discs get the latest technology full color, indelible on-disc printing so your discs look as good as they sound.
Typesetting and graphic design
Choose whatever level of involvement you are comfortable with in the production of print materials for your project. We work with clients who supply finished print materials and others who have us take care of everything. We can provide you with practical advice, specifications for print materials and recommendations for suppliers for any aspect of the process you want to handle yourself.
Packaging and shipping services
We can distribute your finished CDs and/or DVDs to your group members if it’s impractical for you to do it. This is particularly convenient for projects completed after school gets out for the summer. You provide us with a list of names and addresses and we do the rest.
